The 1,200,000 SF two level shopping mall is nestled in the suburbs between downtown Los Angeles, CA. and the mountains to the east. The property has fallen to the vacant anchor syndrome that has been plaguing retail centers across the country. Our solution incorporates several strategies including de-anchoring of the traditional department store, creating an externally focused entertainment and hospitality zone, a second level bridge over a vehicular drop-off zone all anchored by a new free-standing theater.
